Gord McIntosh has been the main force behind 110 percent communications services. A former journalist, his career highlights include more than 25 years in newsrooms (14 years covering Parliament Hill for The Canadian Press), daily newspaper management with Thomson newspapers, and long-term work as an Investment Executive columnist. Since going into private practice in 2000, he has worked as a media coach with federal cabinet ministers and MPs, and provided government relations consulting and writing services to private sector clients, financial institutions, associations, federal, provincial and foreign governments, multi-national corporations, and government agencies.

He has also donated his time over the years to the National Newspaper Guild (former vice-president, board member), National Press Club (former president, board member), National Press Gallery (former president, board member), Government Relations Institute of Canada (former member of board of directors), and International Association of Business Communicators—Ottawa chapter (former president). He is currently a long-term committee member of the Canadian Committee for World Press Freedom.

Irene McIntosh has specialized in providing publishing solutions through 110 percent since August 2006. Editorial is how she got into the business but advertising sales and marketing is where she made her mark. Also a Thomson newspaper alumnus, she has a successful track record with The Financial Post Newspaper, The Financial Post Magazine, Metrospan newspapers, the Ottawa Citizen (magazine supplements), the Ottawa Sun, Metro magazine, and Summit Magazine: Canada’s magazine on public sector purchasing. She has also provided advertising sales training for Ottawa Magazine Inc. (publishers of Ottawa Magazine, Ottawa Business Life, and Ottawa Woman) and the Summit Group.

Always pushing the envelope for new challenges, Irene took on part-time studies in Fundraising Management at Algonquin College six years ago. She graduated with honours from the program in 2010. Since then she has focused on helping nonprofit organizations with both communications and fundraising strategies.
